Out Hunting Tonight.

just zeroed rifle and set up nv.setting off about 11 pm got a 40minute drive to perm .should be mild night with thick cloud .havent been for a while should bag a few bunnies tonight fingers crossed. Let you know how I get on.

Well things didn't go too well last night . Started off with a miss then mist came down .but before mist got to bad I spotted two bunnies on the other side of the field I was in .i wouldn't normally try getting closer from were I was its a long way but I hadn't seen many bunnies so I thought I would get closer .after a while I had got to within about 35 yrds .they knew I was there but both just sat there .i picked my target and fired looked like a perfect head shot down it went.before it had stopped twitching a fox came out of the woods and finished him off.by this time mist was getting bad so I went home.its been a long time since I've gone home with nothing but that's hunting.

I have had the same thing happen to me with foxes
