At weekend my whippet had a tumble with a rabbit( I thought nowt of it) and carried on all day. I've been working him as normal and he's fine. Here's the question, I was checking him over and found a lump or bulge about 3/4 vertabra down on his tail. It looks to be out or slipped but with no pain, would he be fine left only or is it a vet job. Please no daft replies it been a long day. Thanks John

One of my pups ran into my dhx tail and broke it was told by the vet it will heal no problem and did so but just has a big lump like yours could have broken it and not realized??

My jr Brock here tail it has a lump and it never botherd her mate , if in dout check it out ,

I don't know him but I've been to Ken in Leigh in the past and he's a good bloke .

Had another look today and it may be a bulging disc, I'll try him on some anti inflammatories for a week and see. Thanks for the replies lads

if it is a poped disc you have to be careful none of the blood vesels are being pinched or could end up gangrenous get it sorted asap
