Extending the living quarters

Hey,

My ferrets currently have a reasonable sized hutch, a place where they sleep and a small play area, where they do their business And i was thinking of adding to their hutch by making a little run around area underneath the hutch. Around 1 metre by 50 cm, and i was wondering if this is a good idea or not? plus could you show me what your hutches look like please.

Because the pictures on the internet are crap and dont show proper hutches just stupid crappy rabbit hutches. So please could u tell me what i should do and also what your hutches looks like? Cheers!!
