clarkhirstphoto 94
Had a walk tonight with a good mate of mine mattybugeye. First night with a shotgun instead of the normal fn19..... wow. .. I had a clear shot on a pheasant (left for me by matty) and pulled the trigger for a definite kill..... safety was on! I hesitated with the second shot and it was gone. .. gutted! Absolutely loved it though and massive Thanks to matty for taking me out, hopefully the first outing of many to come 2 Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Sounds like the application will be going in very soon, and by the way if you think a shotgun is fun,(which they are) wait till you use a big rifle to drop a deer/fox @ 200 yards, I think you might get quite excited then lol 2 Quote Link to post
clarkhirstphoto 94
You're right Charlie, i think I'll wait until after Xmas and get my application in. I want a bit more permission under my belt and a bit more experience before i apply 1 Quote Link to post

hoggysreels 76
Rifles are good fun, but aerial targets are the ultimate imho, and shotgun are the tool for the job .. a fast crossing mallard on a wind swept day is a challenge to behold ... 1 Quote Link to post

zx10mike 137
Rifles are good fun, but aerial targets are the ultimate imho, and shotgun are the tool for the job .. a fast crossing mallard on a wind swept day is a challenge to behold ... hours spent on load development, the right rifle. target ranged .wind accounted. dialed in after checking ballistic program . get your breathing right and squeeze....... nope prefer lr rifle shooting 1 Quote Link to post

I want a bit more permission under my belt and a bit more experience before i apply why wait for a shotty .you don't need land under you belt to get one but once you have one your more likely to get more permision from farmers. 3 Quote Link to post
