I crimp using pike fishing crimps, and then bend the crimp to get the best closing loop. For squirrels i don't recommend loading the snare. just my own preferance. 1 Quote Link to post
heritage 202 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Share Posted September 30, 2014 Squirrels can't be taken in a bender as there is a section that states snares used to target a certain species must not be capable of lifting them from the ground.... Rats are a totally different kettle of fish as there are no real guidelines, rules or best practice when it comes to snaring them.....
