Cedric 132
Nipped out last night to zero my NV ready for the weekend. Don't let anyone tell you that the Ruger 10-22 is not accurate! 5/8" reflective dot. 1 Quote Link to post

Cedric 132
The key term is 'in the dark'! Who is going to see it ! Bit like a gold plated trigger except they are just ornaments and no use. It's a Pitch Black Hunter, made in the UK and very useful within it's limitations. Just after I zero'd it I popped a rabbit at 55 yards standing, just takes getting used to. Totally self contained and can be used off the rifle as a spotter before switching on the laser on the Hornet. Built in battery lasts for ages. Very good for finding the dog when it buggers off with a rabbit !! Wasted_for_ever - I wish it did double as a camera then I could make some cash out of " You've Been framed" ! 2 Quote Link to post
John Stott 202
Cheered me up reading this. Love the comments and taken tongue in cheek, unlike other girly forums where a catfight would break out. A sign of true shooters. That said wheres Darth? The 10/22 comes in for a lot of stick on accuracy, I think personally having watched some clowns with the 25 round "AK banana" attached doing an Arnie impression, well aye it will. The standard rotary is a good design, and given discipline in use, well it is as accurate as many a CZ or Browning. I personally like a bolt, these little things show my age, or being a tightwad with rounds. Whatever, the only thing I could criticise are the misfires after lots of use, its a mucky habit semi auto rimmie. As for humping that around, well not for me, I like my mini maglite taped underneath. Said I was a tightwad. Quote Link to post
Wildling 520
If I could I'd carry a Minigun around with me filled with Tracers! LOL Quote Link to post

Cedric 132
Celtic - John Stott - I have an Anshutz 1417 bolt for daytime shooting, no problem grouping at 100 yards, I sometimes stick a lamp on that. As for sticking - I use a rotary toothbrush to clean round the chamber area, gets right into the crevices. Quote Link to post
