Drop Net

Recommended Posts

ive tried a few drop nets over the years, some were ok some not so. i prefer a traditional net on end pins or a quickset in a basket, although an idea for a static net did pop into my head the other evening, i'll be having a play in the coming months and see if its any use.

I tie in the bottom line to the top line using shoelace knot.tie in near pole, then middle and pole again, continued the length of the net using the same knot.takes a bit of time.making sure you have enough line to finish out to end of net and beyond to a bit of cover.as you pull on the cord, the knots unravel easily and the rings fall down the poles right to the end.

Sorry about the setup and background. ha.but I'm sure you can imagine that setup tight to a ditch or hedgerow.just to say lads, john orr is the man behind this.great professional rabbit man

John Orr his site reccomends you check the nets regularly to remove the rabbits LOL
