celticrusader 78 Posted July 1, 2014 Report Share Posted July 1, 2014 Hey guys, as I'm in the market for a new rifle soon in .243 I'm looking at the ruger american range as its specially what take my fancy...actually the predator model. Has anyone used or have any experience with this particular model of rifle and could they give me any info as it doesn't seem if the predator model is available from any seller here at the moment. andyf 144 Posted July 3, 2014 Report Share Posted July 3, 2014 I've got a Ruger #1 single shot, had it for 7 years and it's very good. Only quirky thing is Ruger have their own design scope mounting interface and ring sets. No other make of mount fits only Ruger's. It's not a big deal, but I wish they hadn't done it. celticrusader 78 Posted July 4, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2014 I'm not fussy when it comes to something like that..tbh I'm not a fan of light triggers and might even prefur it, since looking around it seems that there will always be something that is not always to our liking with anything we get but then I've yet to have a look at it so my mind isn't set yet.
