budharley 945 Posted June 28, 2014 Report Share Posted June 28, 2014 I've jus done a hatching of my game fowl 17 chicks in total four chicks have now gin off there legs are walking on there hocks well trying to I've just found one on its last legs so I've dealt with the other three I know mareks does this but these are two weeks old and I've had lots of other chicks in the brooder no problems Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Also feel their legs and see if they feel hot !Cheers mate I'll have a look , you got any recommendations on a good feeding regime for chicks in reality your chicks should be ok on crum for a while but I have seen some em go of their legs if a batch has got to high protein , it's just one thing to elimate before you see if its Mateks . Me personally change chick food regular from growers to maintenance maybe cracked corn but I'm sure everyone's got different ways of feeding . Quote Link to post Share on other sites
