Matt Smith 143 Posted June 16, 2014 Report Share Posted June 16, 2014 Well seeing as our lass was at work tonight I thought I'd pop to the farm for a few hours after work. I'm glad I made the effort of fighting my way through the rape seed field. Took this one at 32 yards (paced) kneeling using shooting sticks. I'd stalked it for about 30 yards until I felt I'd got within distance to take a shot. Shortly after I stalked this one about 20 yards and took the shot prone at 34 yards, again paced out. On the way back the last one jumped out of the pea field about 15 yards away then stopped at the hedge line. I hadn't seen it until it had started to move so had to take the shot pretty quickly, happy with the shot placement though. Little group shot...
