pod 0
Hi everyone, My name is Jon, I'm 32 and I'm from the Midlands. I'm new to hunting/shooting, but have been convinced by my best mate (and best man to my forthcoming wedding!) to join him in this sport. I have been to look at a few pcp rifles and have decided (with guidance) to go for the BSA Ultra SE with a Varmint Scope. I tried both the beech and the tactical and feel the weight and texture of the tactical stock suit me better. I'm going for .177 as I think it will help me with my accuracy. I have shot my friends gun on several visits, and while my aim is pretty good, I am a lefty so haven't felt completely comfortable when shooting. The wedding takes priority so I won't be investing until the end of the year probably, but it gives me plenty of chance to do a bit more reading up and also to find some novice friendly clubs in my local area. Anyway, sorry for the long intro! Sure I'll hear from some of you soon ?
