Quick Hour With Hmr.

Recommended Posts

Had an hour out early, couple of rabbits sat next to each other, shot one and the other just sat there so....at 87 & 88 yards, then five minutes later a squirrel to join them. Later on my way back got another rabbit but it was full of myxo. Also a magpie but he didn't want to participate in the photo shoot.

When i first had my hmr i was told that id be lucky if i had more than one rabbit in the same field with the crack they make but personally i find they are an ideal gun,

ive shot loads sat together as the other rabbit will just stick his head up wondering whats happened to his pal and then finds out himself

Good shooting pal

I was out with my HMR yesterday afternoon keeping the rabbits down on three farms in the same lane. At the first farm, I'd not seen a rabbit for a month, but got two at around hundred yards, ten yards apart in the long grass, ears only for the first one, then head shot for the second, when he looked up. Went next door and shot another four. That was enough for me in an hour. This was my blog report:http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/cz452-17-hmr-allows-the-grass-to-grow/

This land had been destroyed by rabbits. Take a look at it now.

I've just been out with my CZ 453, first time since I had the barrel shortened to 16". It zeroed up fine with no obvious change in performance, that Swift Precision mod. (.17 specific) I bought is very good - so, it's rabbit stew this weekend. :)
