American Kestrels

What type of nesting materials do American Kestrels need.A mate has a pair and the cock is treading the Hen daily.He asked me to find out what material is best for the nest box.Thanks in advance.

tbh mate i think he bred an american kestrel with a spa but not to sure ill find out of him

i wasnt sure tbh but i do know the spa killed the american kestrel on a windy night as the lad popped inside for something and the wind blew a door open and the spa grabbed the kestrel as it flew past

He definitely bred an american kestrel to a peregrine. There was only one egg that hatched and he kept it back, a little male called frank. Last i heard was it was flying well on the kite but havent heard owt since

I use pea gravel on a nest ledge as do with any falcons.
