fireman 11,457 Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 It's down to it being a bit warmer here than where you are mate,we've only had a handfull of frosts all winter and not once was the ground rock hard with it,i see last week up yours it was warm at 3 oclock and minus something at 4 oclock and that is why mate .It is also only the greenies going for it and lost two eggs from the cinny hen as she built a crap bottomed nest so they fell through but the silver hen has laid today,the other birds are doing nothing just yet but treading and messing with the nesting stuff not building with it.
