Anyone Had A Knife From Amazon?

Recommended Posts

Always fancied a damascus knife, they sure do look pretty, and usually cost a lot more.. Seen this on amazon, thought I`d give it a shot. Its only use will be for opening rabbits up, as Ive found (might just be me) , it dont matter how sharp your knife is, if it hasnt a decent point, you can some times make gutting a rabbit harder than it is.. I plan on sharpening the top edge an inch too, so it should be a little effective zipper (If it dont crumble in my hands  )http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Handmade-Damascus-Complete-Leather/dp/B00JNTBHCY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1397980511&sr=8-4&keywords=south+coast+innovations

I like that Bob, ticks all my boxes, Damascus, horn handle and ok sheath and at that price well worth a go IMO.

I have a Shrade (spelling) old timer here of a similar shape and I ground down the top edge, works well, though that thing looks too nice to be doing that too.

Very similar Bob, mines more of a skinner though, more curve on the blade. I bought it as a kid, 35 years ago!

Nice. I wish I had some of the blades I had as a boy. If someone had a knife I liked, I`d swap half my bedroom for it, then ultimately, me Ma would confiscate it.

I`m still being given blades back now 25 years on I dont even recognise lol. None of the good ones mind :censored:
