Bunnies Galore!!!!!!

Well after a monumentally busy weeks work i had one final delivery to do tonight at half 6 and thought i would tie it into a hour or so at my best permission which just so happens to be 2 minutes down the road.(conveniently left it till last so that my other half would agree that it would be a good idea to have a shoot while i was down there) There were a few small groups of rabbits out feeding when i arrived but difficult to get anywhere near while it was light so i had a walk through the wood onto the boundry of the wood and fields and sat tight as i had spooked a few woodies on my way through hoping they would return......they didnt....anyway after a little wait a couple of rabbits came out of cover and the closest at 38 yards presented the back of his head to me. No wind at all made this a straight forward shot and that was one in the bag. Shortly after retrieving it i spotted another at what seemed 60ish yards....a bit far for me so i tucked into the boundry hedge and got to 44 yards and with half a mildot holdover number two was also in the bag. A very clumsy scramble over the wall saw me send three rabbits crashing through the hedge bottom and one just sitting, thinking about bolting for long enough for me to send my final superdome of the evening whollop a headshot home at 28 yards. A very satisfying walk back to the van with three rabbits for a weekend caserole courtesy of my mk 3 tx200. There really are a lot of rabbits on here so i may get out again over the weekend just to keep on top of them.

Cheers darkie. I wish i had bought one of these last year. After previously owning an unreliable rifle this really is a breath of fresh air knowing that the pellet is going where you are aiming.

Thanks fellas. The owner of the permission just called to say there are loads all over the place again this morning so i think it may be another trip tonight!!
