The Seeker 3,048
Seeker then you won't agree with the bank bail outs These are the biggest bail outs our country's ever known These are unprofitable businesses who's bossed are still getting multi million dollar bonuses Your damn right I dont agree with the bank bail outs, IMO they should have been held accountable for the damage they have brought upon this country. The difference between the bank bail out and the coal mines is we cant live as a nation without them, without the banks the country is not just thousands more signing on it is completly dead, without the coal mines there were and are other alternatives, however bitter the alternatives they were other options.

WILF 49,983
Max and GTE, I hear you boys and I get your point I really do, I just don't agree with lots of it. There is a basic anomaly in what you are saying, on one hand you are saying that we should prop things up through the tax system no matter what, but is coal any better than banking?......just another industry lads. You prop thing up through the tax system, the tax system is what allows politicians and financial institutions control over you life. You then say, "Support UKIP" which is a libertarian party........being libertarian by its very nature means letting things do well on their own two feet and letting things die if they need to. Low tax, low control, let every man and industry stand alone.......that's what libertarianism is boys. You cant have it both ways, we have a very weird capitalist/socialist system now whic in short order means we work and they piss it away. So which do you want, a return to good old socialist redistribution if wealth or to be allowed to stand on your own feet and spend YOUR money how YOU see fit? Cause from what I can see, you can't have it both ways. Edited March 17, 2014 by WILF
