Mickey Finn 3,087
It's a hard thing to assign value to another mans dog. I draw the line at age, but for a younger animal I'll spend a fair amount. Good luck with surgery Dai Dogs! Quote Link to post

bird 10,014
waste money no matter what breed of dog has it. think youv just been stroked I think your right really, after all there only animals, and at least a lurcher what ever the x will bring bit back in the house if not cmoney, atleast it could catch its dinner if need be.? if it had been my pet dog prob get rid or give it away to pet home and the info with it . I had ped dogs and know the shit that goes with them, that was 1 of the reasons I went for a lurcher to get a healthy type of dog that could live a NORMAL LIFE NOT DOWN THE VETS EVERY DAY UNLESS WORK INJUREYS alsations are riddled with hip displasia but i doubt it would appear in an alsation x lurcher true, its big prob in Alsatians, bullmastffs etc and other heavy breeds , the bitch gsd to my pup from import working lines , not saying you carnt get HD but less chance ,as they bred for work not show. My vet told me that by having 4/8 greyhound in my pups genes, if he did get HD it would no where as bad as a pure gsd, he doing fine at moment got great movement nice strong gate to him 1 Quote Link to post
