ChrisJones 7,975
The easiest ways around this is don't use your main ISP email address unless you absolutely have to. Use Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail, etc and if you start getting crap of marketing companies change the address. It also pays to keep your spam filters up to date with your email provider. If antis want to spend $2500, a time, on email addresses then I for one encourage them. It'll be less money they have to follow us around.

COMPO 54
again this is a purely innocent idea that could be used for the wrong motives, in principle the idea is so that fieldsports companies can market themselves via e-mail, e-mailing potential customers. Whether the ANTI's will buy these e-mail addresses or not, would it make any difference?? i am sure they have enough details on us anyway and at the end of the day an e-mail address can be changed as Chris Jones said, i wouldn't worry about the ANTI's knowing my e-mail address, what does worry me is when they know what school your kids go to
Guest Macnas
Well, I for one, welcome the opportunity to recieve challanging points of view that may even be contrary to my own. I also think it does the soul good to be lambasted and vilified as a blood crazed cuddly creature killer. I can't wait to be in email contact with my new anti buddies. COMPO 54
Some people have a paranoid fear of Anti's My new ferreting partner follows hounds and the folk who follow hounds seem completely paranoid of any one who even questions hunting and seem to do all they can to avoid contact with such people. Last time i was ferreting with him a chap was running accross the footpath in the field, my mate" i hope he aint an anti" i replied "i hope he is we could have a debate and make a few valid points, i love an arguement" the bloke ran up, good mornings were exchanged, i explained what we were doing and he went away a little wiser and with a positive impression of ferreters. A lot of people are ANTI hunt as a default setting because they dont understand any better and dont understand the whys and wherefores, i as a child questioned hunting and the morality of hunting, however i was shown the light by people prepared to engage and educate on the subject. We should all spread the good word and if an ANTI sends us an e-mail reply politely and informatively!!
