fireman 11,549
Well done on getting some more cover in there for them, that's a lot better and if i may just suggest one thing (i know you won't take offence ) but i would turn some of that conifer up the other way so the birds can snug down into it rather than perching on top type thing. It'll help with keeping the wind off them but that's all and with that set up i recon your'll do just fine this year mate. .

Outlaw Pete 2,224
What colour's the two non reds? Waterslager? I read something about them just recently. Something extremely good about them. Fosters? Rearers? Something. Must check them out further. I'm so new to canaries that I don't even have one! I'm trying to learn though. I'm leaning towards Coloured's. For type? I probably prefer 'pet quality' Fifes (Less blousey) and Irish Fancy
spartan 99
The white one is the waterslager and the fife is the cinnamon one they are both hens and the red factor a cock bird and both hens have been brilliant mothers
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Waterslagers; Been checking them out. Belgian birds. Likened to Rollers. Sing softly, with their mouth closed, apparently? And, yeppers; Notedly good feeders. F**k Me!!! It's the Space Invader bird! Listen to how they sing! . Bet you're relieved ye have a hen, now?!
