Decoying Pigeons With A Air Gun

hi is it worth setting up some decoys and trying to shoot some pigeons as i have lots of them around my place lately.

Yeah it's visiable, ensure you cover up everything hands and face. Pigeons have excellent vision.

 

Few decoys generally facing into the wind (in a non uniformed pattern)

 

And sit and wait....once a pigeon is shot it's good to use it as a decoy too placing it down and propping it's head up with a stick. Ensure you pick up any scattered feathers ....this will mean danger to the flying in pigeons .

Definately mate. Set decoys out in field feeding or up in trees. Great sport to be had. I always had my best days shooting them out of the trees.

Loft some decoys up on the edge of a wood or wherever you got to shoot on and build a good hide,
