I have never heard of a marking dog if I understood they find deans are they just find rabbit or any game that well den do they follow the animal smell or are they look for the den it self and do you teach them to brack or be quite and set

dogs will learn to tell the owner that there is something in the earth or den i think some dogs take to this easyer than others work them and they can pick this up bye sent

Yep I agree I've an old border dog here he's nearly in his teens I started taking him out ferreting a few years ago and he started marking

When your dog sniffs and takes interest in any rabbit holes at a young age just praise them so they know it's a good idea it's comes with experience
