Marking A Hole

I have never heard of a marking dog if I understood they find deans are they just find rabbit or any game that well den do they follow the animal smell or are they look for the den it self and do you teach them to brack or be quite and set

dogs will learn to tell the owner that there is something in the earth or den i think some dogs take to this easyer than others work them and they can pick this up bye sent :thumbs:

hi I have just got a lovely male lurcher but he is 10 months old is this to late to start training him to mark up and course rabbit

 

 

Never too late get him out every chance you get and see what he does around burrows

Yep I agree I've an old border dog here he's nearly in his teens I started taking him out ferreting a few years ago and he started marking
