whats the cost of bringing a container over from the likes of china?? minus the cost of whats in the container?? or will it go on weight :hmm: :hmm:

f**k me, I put this thread up in the guise to get information not give it out  3 ways to import from china, air freight, courier and by sea. Light stuff smallish orders cheaper by air or courier. Heavier, bulkier large orders best getting a container full and going by sea. Problem is the time it takes to sale from china :(

Drop shipping while sounding good, relies on your partner to deliver on time, which from the drop shippers I have seen on ebay does not happen.that often. There are a lot of firms in the channel islan

If you want to buy and sell you won't earn any money out of it unless you have the bollocks to get your hand in your pocket, lay your money out an take your chances.   There's no such thing as money

what happens when someone orders a load gear an then cancels it baw

That's a tricky one mate. You got to check return policies from the manufacturer/drop shipper. Some only take back if faulty. Got to do a lot of homework. Some of them like to dictate the price you can sell the stuff at, some want to take over your site and use you as a mere additional selling platform and pay you peanuts. I've one really good one which I'm gonna use, I've bought stuff off them, checked them out etc and its genuine. They are out there if you can be arsed to look.

There are a lot of firms in the channel islands that do drop shipping, dvd sets etc, but their partners get all the flack when wrong items are sent or non deliveries etc.

TC

With eBay you get to set the estimated delivery time. All you do is estimate it to 5 days if the drop shipper says 2.
