Eye Injury

had my pup out earlier on and she chased a rabbit in to cover yapping away after it then I heard her yelp so I shouted her back and she had her eye shut so a somethings obviously caught her eye in cover its now open but weeping and abit red around the edge of her eye lids is there anything I can give her to help sort it? atb j.l

try rinsing it out with warm aired water mate.could be that it has tiny bit of debry in it or could be that a twig has poked her in her eye making it sore so her i will weep to clean out the eye

have you any contact to get leo yellow or opticlox eye ointment this is very good to reduce inflamation and redness in the eye. hope this helps.

Had a similar problem with my dog earlier this year I think she did it in a blackthorn bush, anyhow the next day her eye had almost shut. I tried to wash it but she would not let me anywhere near it so had to take her to the vets and he had to sedate her to examine the eye anyway he had to sew the eye shut in order 4 it to heal which took about 2 months. She,s ok now thank god. atb day walker.

got it shorted I flushed it out with warm water and put 2 drops of brolene in every few hours
