Range Day At Atherton Rapid Forum Meet .

Recommended Posts

Today we held a bit of a get together at Atherton indoor airgun range in Bolton .

Ben , who runs it , gave us the top floor to ourselves ( a good 80 yds ) and left us to it .

The Rapid forum regulars showed up , and it was a great day with some great lads .

Tested out my first trial of the Cricket Bull pup , and i have to say its a crackin bit of kit ;)

We started out with a 40 yd zero , but were soon knocking bottle tops at 75yds . Moxy certainly is a dark horse with that rapid and soon showed us what a great shot he is , although he woukd'nt say it himself !Great shooting by all involved and ide like to say a personal thanks to bunny tickler , and Gregski for organising it , anf a special thanks to Moxy for travling down and joining us . Great to see u Mick , and it was a great day for all involved .

Cheers lads , see u soon ;)

Moxy , will ring u saturday and sort out ;)

Nice one Buster, i guess you recon you were right when you said that it was "too far". Although I would of liked a hard copy so i could of kept in my scrapbook. But being serious now, its nice to see other shooters enjoyable the sport.

Thanks buster.

It was a great day had by all. A little bit of competitiveness (lol which didn't last or get too serious) and more importantly a good laugh.

If another day is arranged it will be open to members on here too. For those who can't make the THL meets down south.

Thanks again to the lads who made the effort and to those who arranged it.

More home comforts need taking next time and a winch or stair lift to get Pete's sodding bottle up those stairs :D

didn't even know it was on or id of tried to get down. where did you lot come down from?

not got a rapid though

No it wasn't announced as it was a rapid meet and not on this forum. However if one is organised again it will be open to lads on here. Rapids or not.

The lads traveled from Birmingham. Liverpool. Cheshire and Bradford.
