I want to know how you get these night vision and thermol image gadgets,,, to stay on the dogs head......

Its got ir on the side carefull you don't get seen from 2 mile away :laugh::laugh:

be a daftry to not be on permission as its a 22/250 rifle :thumbs:

 

 

Be silly not to be on permission full stop these days :D

 

its difficult as my eyesight is poor and my sense of direction has never been much good :laugh:

there a great tool on a rifle but i honestly can not see the benefit over a lamp and filter when out with the dogs

 

 

 

I cannot see the benefit of it being quite a bit less obvious your about because the white is on less than a third of the time and getting slips on game you would normally not see..... of course using a red filter and pointing it at the ground like you suggested would be much better :laugh:

and how long do you spend focusing each time you look at a different point in the field as any difference from the last focus would require it to be focussed again

no expert mate but i can only speak from my own experience of using several types over the years, the first one i used was in 1986 an image intensifier (IWS on an SLR) spent every other day unable to see out of my right eye. im done here carry on gents :thumbs:
