ArchieHood 3,692
I nipped up the A303 this morning and met up with Chris and Luke for a bit of rabbiting. After getting geared up we left on foot and made the short cross field trip to the first hedgerow. It was at this point I realised I had left the flask behind I would now be reliant on others for my caffeine hit.We netted up and got to work, pausing briefly for short bursts of rainfall. http:// Things started of a bit slowly, but as the morning passed we began to catch a few. http:// http:// With the weather changing to a blue sky we moved on to a orchard where we managed a couple more, we finished off on a long hedgerow on the main road where we bolted 2 in quick succesion.A total of 10 was a good start to the season, not so good if your chosen to carry the days success home. http:// When we got back their was time for a final shot.............................and a flask of coffee. http:// Quote Link to post

chrismdd 787
It was a good day and the weather was kind to us. My thumb is still tingling from the ferret getting a bit confused when Tess (the dog), myself and the ferret all caught hold of the same rabbit. Looking forward to the next trip out and we'll try some newer areas where one of the farmers wants them cleared. Chris 1 Quote Link to post
bullmastiff 615
Thanks again for the day out guys, it was a lovely day in between the showers! Think it was only a minute or two after that first photo that I got stung on the neck by the bloody wasp! What the hell their doing out this time of year I'll never know! Checked through the Camcorder when I got home and there was nothing but film of blank holes. Mind you there was this...... Rik with his Ninja like speed! almost catching a rabbit by hand!
