Not long in from lamping, caught 9, could have got more but was on my own and that's enough for me to carry.

We counted 77 rabbits last night and didnt get a run on any, i had to go out at 8pm as i had a young lad with me and because of the early start they just wernt out very far from cover, but it opened the young un's eyes too what you can see if you use the wind to your advantage, a good lessen learnt , buster.

Me and vin got 57 last night ,,,good night with a good stiff wind for most of the night,,managed to finish by 1.30 -2.00 am for a change

Yes two dogs,,, but you can only catch what's there,,,and on some of my spots there's a few rabbits,,, the night befor I only had 8 just running local,,,, but in all honesty those 8 local gave me just as much satisfaction as the 41 Venus cought last night,,,

I used to do ground like that tomo, you'd switch the lamp on and it looked like the whole field was moving. I know what you mean regarding the 8 being as good as 41(impressive for 1 dog) Id rather have 2 good runs than 10 in the clap anytime. My dogs getting on a bit so every injury free night is a bonus.
