dytkos, that was the Works Progress Administration. They did public works and provided jobs for unemployed men. They did some pretty nice work all in all.

The first pic that house looks dated and like its been empty for ages ?.

It was built in the 30's, and is used as a rest room, and warming house for ice skaters, and hockey players in the winter. I've always liked the slate roof, and the design of it. Used to use it myself when I was a young fellow.
