How do you work your dogs on the lamp? When the light goes off dog straight back or if they miss straight on the next?

If the dog misses an there's more in the field I put the lamp straight on it. If the dogs been schooled properly it shouldn't bring on bad habits.

straight back dogs that hunt up on the lamp are a nightmare but only you know when to call it a night and one last run when the dog is tired is when things goes tits up as i know only to well

lamp off back to me. Dog runs what I choose not what dog chooses! maybe miss the odd easy one and in the past have done it but believe it leads to bad habits.

Same lamp of , get them back in. Then off we go again. Gives the dog time to recover on the Trot back also if running them hard run after run
