A photo showing a man who appears to be forcing vodka down the throat of an adorable, white puppy has gone viral on Facebook.

Those individuals who are involved in the animal rescue portion of the popular social networking site have undoubtedly seen the photo with a caption along the lines of, "Does anyone know this guy? Someone needs to check on this puppy!"

According to Tuesday's publication concerned individuals can rest easy because the photo was nothing more than a tasteless prank.

The police became involved after someone who had seen the photo reported it and asked for an investigation.

When the man in the photo was located, he explained what led up to the concerning image.

Apparently, the puppy had been playing with the sealed (cap on) vodka bottle. The man began to play tug with the puppy and then a photo was snapped which makes it appear that the puppy is being forced to consume alcohol.

The man in the photo, Alex Barker, realized that the photo was being taken out of context when he allegedly began receiving threats.

Police confirmed with the puppy's owner that the cap was on the bottle and that the dog never consumed any alcohol.

The investigation has been closed.

 

Looks like a feeble excuse to placate the cops. I've never seen a dog pick up a bottle by the neck. If he was trying to get it off the dog, why would he be holding the back of it's head forcing it onto the bottle?. Doesn't look like there's anything in it, but his excuse is bullshit and he's still a wanker.

I have an old hippy mate who used to give his 10 year old alsatian a bud of weed every night so he could go for a short walk. Dog had arthritis and he said for awhile after giving it to him the pain seemed to go as his dog could walk better and got a good nights sleep.

 

Was also the most chilled out dog I've ever met

My cousin was over visiting from uk he bought some space cakes from the shop and left them in the back of the car. Had a little bulldog who would sit and whine at you whenever you would drink a beer. Pour some and it'll drink it as it came out the bottle lol. Never got it pissed or gave it any just wanted to see if it was the beer it wanted. Strange as he'd been a complete kennel dog before and never in the house so dought he was around people drinking beers.
