My other half is the big 40 1st June next year and I'm hoping to do something special for him and 2 or 3 mates. I'm looking for some shotgun shooting but not sure of dates of seasons, of I book something on his birthday is anything in season? If not when is best to go? I'm hoping to find something in Scotland, looking for something where they walk with the guns and the gamekeepers and dogs walk to flush things up for the gun? Is that rough shooting? Does anyone have any recommendations for any in Scotland? There's no way he'll wear all the breeches and long socks etc....would that matter? Roe bucks would be if he is into stalking though. If not I know a cracking clay shooting set up just on the outskirts of Amsterdam, i'm sure he wouldn't mind heading over there for a weekend.
