CZ 452 Trigger Tuning

Recommended Posts

Hello People! Iv just joined this forum and i need some advice and tips.

I have just brought myself a Cz 452 American and have fitted it with one of the new Sirocco Sm11 silencers and a GS Tru Hunter 3-9x50mm scopes. I have shot many rifles before and find that the CZ's trigger is a little on the heavy side and also that there is a fair amount of creep in the sears. Can anyone please give me some tips on tuning the trigger or a link to a tuning sight. Also i was wondering what brand of ammo everyone uses and what results you get. I have started of using Remington Accu Tip and find I can get a 1'' group at 100yards of my bipod. Is this good grouping for an HMR. Any help and advice welcome Cheers

hi mate, i have the cz varmint and the way to go is to fit a brookes trigger kit which you can either order direct ( sorry i dont have the link ) or you can maybe get one local they retail around 13 quid, easy to fit and you can lighten the trigger to what you want and solves creep. the groups you are getting are good, you could maybe get them smaller but not by much at 100yds but lets face it, its perfectly adequate for hunting. remis are as good as the next cartridge but try other make but most think its the batch of ammo not the make that matters so if you find a good one buy as much as your ticket will allow.
