Polkey 70
Went to Uplands show today, first proper dog show I have been to and really enjoyed it. Lots of great looking dogs and a really good atmosphere. One of the organisers told us the kids were up in the ring and I said the boy was a bit young. He said he just had to stand at the edge and they would all get a bag of sweets. Well that was us all sold so he slipped in with the dog and ended up coming third which made his and our day. Thanks to Uplands lurcher and long dog club for a great afternoon. Have added a pic, hope it uploads. 3 Quote Link to post

Yeah, I thought it was great they did that for all the kids, my boy was pleased as punch which was a bonus as he was winging about going in the first place and now wants to know when the next ones on. CBdogsA1 420
Very good show. Lots of nice dogs on show (and not) and some great crack. Met and chatted to some good lads I've never met before. The winning bull x was in great nick and has plenty family background on the shield. Going with the amount of cracking pups there, the future is bright. Quote Link to post
