Is This A Hunting Site

Recommended Posts

Cant believe that topics are getting locked for asking questions on hare coursing. Even though it said pre ban. So if your suspected of asking about hare coursing, your off. In the same breath it mentions car theft. Get a grip mods. I'm interested in dogs taking big stags, but I don't kill deer. What's wrong with curiosity? It's not illegal.

Its not the forum whats a joke boys. Its the law. We just have to abide by it.

Putting "Pre Ban" doesnt make it any less obvious to the police and antis whats going on.

Keep your heads down lads.

That is spot on.

Whether we like it or not, a large part of our sport is now illegal. If we continually have threads on subjects which are now illegal we are doing the antis work for them.

We can't have threads of 'how to enter a dog to hares' on here any more than we can have threads on 'how to enter my terrier to badgers' on the terrier section, especially when it's so obvious that the person posting is based in the UK and is asking about their own dog.

Engage brains people. There have been several examples of people being arrested and raided after posting on this site and others like it. One of the first things the authorities do is to seize computers and mobiles and usually they find enough evidence on there to take action.

As moderators we have to think about the forum and the members who stay within the law, even if we don't agree with the law ourselves.

Those topics with the mention of "pre ban "and the obligatory whistling smiley are fooling nobody , left to run their course they encourage the less cerably gifted members to get themselves in trouble and show everyone else in a bad light .

No law on asking questions about things you don't know about. If you actually do it, it's illegal.

Have you not heard of 'incitement' ??

As someone else has already said, from time to time threads get out of hand and people say things they shouldn't.

Best advice I can give if you want to discuss illegal activity (even in curiosity) is to set up your own forum and try it there. You won't last long because the authorities will come down on you like a tonne of bricks in no time at all......

No mate there is no law against it but its enough evidence to get you nicked.

Start googling "how to dispose of a dead body" and wait for the knock on the door. Its not illegal to search for that info, but they will want to investigate why you are searching for it.

And when they are raiding your house because you asked about preban coursing and the dogs are DNA swabbed and your hunting gear confiscated for 6 months while they test it, its no fun.

Just watch what you put on here and keep the pre ban talk for in the field

Common sense should prevail on here think before you post but it getting more like a face book site as theres a few dont do much on here and if you ask its the general section and you can post what you want seems to be the answer you get
