Bunny Boiler 177
Put them in cages where they can see each other but not get at each other. Put Olive oil on the back of their necks. Encourages them to lick each other and bond, not bite. Just keep them separate. If there is no damage being done, leave them to it, it's likely to be a pecking order thing. All suggestions you are likely to receive. We can't actually comment without seeing the extent of how bad they are with each other. Hope this helps, Atb, BB Edited July 31, 2013 by Bunny Boiler Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
If there in with Jill's normal this time of year , if you have a snipped or entire hob he will see it as an easy target : / Quote Link to post
Stretch177 39
Introduce them on neutral ground outside the cage and see how they get on. You will get dragging about, as they are sorting the pecking order out and as long as there is no blood it should settle down in a day or 2. I recently got 2 new 11 week old jill kits and they are in with my 3 hobs and other jill and ive had no problems Edited July 31, 2013 by Stretch177 Quote Link to post
sikastag_1 689
It ain't a pecking order issue if there dragging and not fighting its the Jill's hormones making them want to mother the kits if you've got a spare hutch I'd keep the kits until they are a bit bigger they sometimes do it with adult Jill's but they are normally big enough to sort it out Edited July 31, 2013 by grant_c 1 Quote Link to post
The one 8,585
Aye its the jills hormones running ragged thinking its her kit and keeps dragging back into the nest best splitting it up till its bigger and can handle itself . or if you can put bitter apple on its neck and put a pipe in the hutch it can go into and the jills wont fit to give it a break and some peace 2 Quote Link to post
