I am deciding between, metal box profile sheets or boarding and felting the roof? The area i need to cover is 30ft X 13ft, it is concrete block walled with open front. Ther is only abot a 10" fall on the roof from front to back..............slope Cheers gary

GARY 76
Mine is covered in wood and felt, never had any leaks... What about daylight?????????? i wanted some clear areas to allow sun light in, not sure how to do this if boarding?
Leon 0
I used the bitumen roof sheets with the clear ones for the light and have had no problems for about five years now.
Simoman 110
They get sunlight enough through the mesh panels. If you put corregated sheets on the roof they can heat the run during hot weather, can crack in heavy wind and there bloody noisy in the rain
jacob 28
3b is the first layer, which is a tac layer or nailed on,the other layers are heated with a propane burner and torched on.you might be best just by some corrugated sheets

jacob 28
torch on felt is a pre tarred felt,so when its heated it becomes boiling hot tar again, once lapped to each run of felt no other sealer is needed.unless you make a shit job of it
tyson 1
SEAMLESS GRP or fibreglass in english 18mm ply - nail on pre-formed trims for drips and upstand details - then apply the GRP laminate all cold applied no heat involved and it will last forever and ever it doesnt matter how flat the roof is and it doesnt matter if the water lays on it all the time it will never leak if you do it right ...also paint it whatever color you like...stay away from felt cos its shite
