Just got my hands on a nice 3/4 grey 1/4 bull male. He is 10 months old and the only reason I have him is his owner need money !! So a win win for me, I was told today he was stock Brocken but have found out the other night he has an eye from the sheep !!! And again today while walking him on the sheep !!! I've ordered a shock collar but would love any feed back ???

shock collar do work but let them wear it for couple of days on and off around the yard as some dog are smart enough to know when the collar is on them and will only be safe with stock when its on them. don't shock them until they are about to strike at sheep so they think that cause of shock is the sheep.

I prefer to show them sheep every day and keep checking them keep walking right up all the time it is bit harder work but end up with a more reliable stock broken dog, depends what is suitable for you. good luck.

Try other methods first, and cancel the collar, as above, always worked for me, never had a failure.

Just walk the dog through Sheep on lead, any sign of a interest, keep repeating no,

takes about 4 times, then try without lead, or you can put a light long rope on the collar, hopefully should be okay, but any sign of trying to run at them a sharp pull on the rope and a no.

Shock collars are just a lazy method and should be banned.
