Craig Fosse 286
Hello guys, I have just started to take up pigeon decoying with my 12g, I used to use an air rifle but having come into the fortune of having a single barreld shotgun I am using this for the birds now and keeping my air rifle for the early morning rabbits before I set up... I currently have about 20 decoys all a mixture of full bod, half and FUD s infact I may have more, I have all my hide building kit too I have never used anything like a bouncer etc or a cradle and was wondering how easy it is to make one if I was going to? And what I need to do.... I'm trying to think of something else to add to my pattern because at the moment there isn't alot of life, it pulls in birds but I'd like to see if I can do something more because I know there are more birds that can be drawn to the pattern. 03milesR 6
My best investment was my pigeon flapper. Cost me £50 posted from aa decoys. Some people say they aren't a good as the one from A1 because there apperently slower, but the pigeons I have shot over it don't know the difference. It add that bit of movement which attracts the eye and it's a natural movement. Put it on a long lead or remote timer and turn it on and off as you go and your on a winner! Quote Link to post
The one 8,577
I was the same for years never had a bouncer or a rotary machine,I just used to put big decoy patterns out fifty plus shells and that worked for me Quote Link to post
