I don't think you will have much luck without some type of light..as the rat's become more active after dark..

Ummm the ones that lived in my garden didn't mind what time off day it was oh well I'm thinking of getting a ultra fire touch to mount I'd like to know what they are like! I've got chocolate peanut butter and oil mix ready to go!!

keep the light sstill and on constant and they might come out, rather than flickering lights every 2 mins from you turning a torch on and off...

see if that works.

 

you don't need to see the full rat in 1080p color hd, just enough to see its outline so you know where its head is :laugh:

Well I got two they both fell down between the gap in the wall so no retrieval also got a crow that fell into the rough and a feral which I didn't take a picture of because numb nuts here left the phone on the side so not a bad evening out

did you try what I said about laying a torch on the floor towards some bait?

if you go set that up a few nights in a row and let them get used to it with out you disturbing them they might get more confident, then you can be there a few days later, and whack a few before they click on about whats going on. :thumbs::laugh:

I've been thinking about it all morning I think I've sussed a plan il give it a day or two may pop up tonight put some bait down then go up Monday night and take the gun let them get a good taste for it ?!

True but if there isn't much recoil on the stage2 I can't see why it wouldn't be as good on the 97? Or lookin the bay at Cree torches there bright and will do the job nicely
