Maybe he got complacent, but this season he looks fit and has that edge back to his game. Maybe it was Moyes saying he was in competition with Van Persie for his place, or maybe it's because he's in a team genuinely fighting this season instead of leading at a canter. Playing well at the moment mate aint he.......cant understand why Van Persie hasnt been starting every game even though he,s not injured...........if them 2 can both hit a bit of form at the same time i can see that gap closing quick enough.
