BORDERSCOT 3,816
Antidepressants, I know someone milking the system with that excuse. They are 10 stone overweight, not a shift in them but living comfortably. I don't think you can just blame this government, I'd blame them all. Baw mate you're wrong...I blame the government and years of liberal elitism...30,40,50 years ago not having a job and being on benefits would have been a hard shift and being disabled basically meant you had to get on with things yourself...it would have been a no frills life.... The guy you're on about is a product of the system...nothing more...I like it as little as you do pal...but the old horse has bolted and to be honest there ain't no catching the fecker now...it's long gone... And the answer is...feck knows... I said this government mate, don't think you can just blame this one, its them all who have been in power. If anything this government is trying a little bit to stop the hemorrhage. It's a lassy I'm talking about with depression. Both sisters on benefits with depression, father on invalidity, wife too. Car, full sky, mobiles, house phone, private rented homes all paid. Daughter had a kid, didn't want it,father mother took it, get paid kinder ship plus £70 odd a week to look after him. They do car boots, worth a mint but hey ho...... Yeah, years of liberal elitism from tories and labour...do gooders on all fronts... How has it come to pass that decent hard working folk are f****d at every turn yet those who play the system have it all laid in a plate... Think we all agree...it's beyond repair... This is true mate, the kids spoilt rotten, got everything, dresses in designer clothes, gets £20 odd patterns cut in his haircuts etc. only 5 mind. Anyhow, he started school last year and the gran, who looks after him, complained he had to wear school uniform and not his trendy gear. Me being me I said, they Prob make everyone dress the same so that the kids who's parents work, don't feel inferior. She just laughed but its f*****g true. How times have changed. You be as well telling us what family member this is mate............... :notworthy: its a f*****g mate Had a similar PM conversation with another member this morning... Here's a question...I'm almost 48...reckon...(Baw & Lab you guys will be younger I'm guessing... ) but I reckon you'll be old enough to remember this country when it most certainly was Great Britain...education, manufacturing, NHS, inventiveness, pioneering, the bulldog spirit...stiff upper lip...could go on and on...you guys know what I mean...before the numerous scourges that are discussed here on a weekly basis...this country has changed beyond recognition in the last 30 years if this change keeps this same pace and negative intensity for the next 30 years where the f**k are we going to be in the year 2043...???
Ratreeper 441
I don't know what is so glamorous about being unemployable, people try and make it sound like these people live in luxury whilst laughing at daft people working for a living. Everything I experience with these types of families is they are always skint, badly educated and incredibly f***ing stupid and angry about life. They just don't seem happy people, but if that's the cost of not earning your living then they can have it. If there really are no jobs, then man the f**k up, take a risk and move somewhere else. If you want to stay somewhere because it's home and you like it, then why moan about it after? You either live there by choice and be poor with your mouth shut or you move on...it is baffling. RubyTex 1,957
I'm relatively overweight and can't find a lass, but i'm not depressed. Can i have a medal? I think the word 'depression' is just mumbo jumbo for being stuck in a rut, it never lasts and you can always get yourself out of it. I've had a thoroughly shite year, having no job is soul destroying but you just get on with it. No use sitting in front of the tele 18 hours a day then going to the GP for some pills once a month, a bit of fresh air through your gills does the trick. So yeah you could say i'm 'stuck in a rut' at the moment but i don't feel down, there are far many people in the world with worse lives than i have. There's no way i'd go crying to a GP for pills that 'fix' your emotions Does anyone think that money plays a big part in the depression statistics?
baw 4,360
I know what your saying mate, what worries me more than anything is these no good for nothing dole scroungers are breeding kids at an alarming rate. All taught to play the system, no work ethics in them. We can all lack motivation to get out of bed in the morning, do stuff but these c**ts make a career out of it. Doesn't look good

Neil Lennon, rich footballer, ok ugly but so are most footballers suffers from depression. It is a serious illness but like backache used to be the spongers choice of reason to be unfit for work, depression is the new excuse which is hard to check out. Doesn't look good Stupid people do have more children than others, so in the long run it doesn't look great really does it? But I am sick of the attitude people have constantly complaining about the UK, whilst blaming Muslims for hating the UK, for moaning about how lethargic we are in response to things whilst saying 'what's the point we are all f****d anyway' when conversation comes up. It's just too ironic and it's like everyone is parroting each other, people say prison is easy but are terrified to go themselves, people say England is a joke but can't list anywhere better, they say life on the dole is lush but couldn't survive on pittance themselves, say there are too many people then go and have a litter of kids themselves. The list goes on, like people who complain about lists of problems whilst making a list of problems. There is one thing in common for all the problems people have and that it is always somebody else who is to blame, there is always an excuse to not take responsibility for their own lives. You can always change your life, if you really want to.

You obviously don't know people who know how to milk the system
baw 4,360
I know someone who has a house, there daughter was in a council flat paid by social. They bought a second house, the daughter moved into their first house, got the social to pay for it. So they have two houses, there daughter stays in one and the social is paying off the mortgage in it while she stays there rent free. Not bad eh, surely something wrong there?
