better than routing through your pockets and pulling some pocket fluff out instead of a pellet??

don't want to carry a big clinky pellet tin around the hft course.. and I suppose it may be beneficial when out hunting..?

I use this mate, its an old pellet box... cant remember what they were I got it online, didnt care bout the pellets only the box anyway.

it has a little tray that the heads of the pellets fit in and a piece of foam insert, when you close the lid the tray depresses and the pellets fit nicely into their individual holes, jeeps the pellet skirts tidy and i get no rattling from the pellets either

more than enough for a hft run or an outing in the field

to refill i just pour in the pellets and give it a shake they all seat themselves

to the back i have added a hft brackets chart and to the front im going to add my distances ( had to change the front because if changed the scope)

This is how they would look with the lid closed, as you can see all protected and individual

Have a look on the BSAOG, there's a guy who makes the one's that Hunters Vermin made on YouTube out of a wellie and sells them for as little as a fiver. All money goes to charity and they look pretty easy to use, just hanging round your neck.

You are going to have to carry some sort of container for plenty of ammo no matter what your shooting is to be.

I make a pellet container that beats the ones you pay good money for, and costs next to nothing to make.

Take a sturdy pellet tin with a screw top. Not one of those flimsy pop-on, pop-off type. But a decent weight, screw-top type.

Line it with "discs" of Chamoise leather cut to size from a cheapy from Halfords. I use a sharp scalpel and the lid and base of the tin as a guide to size. Then just cut a little smaller than diameter to fit inside the lid and base of the tin. Superglue these to the inside lid-top and base of the tin.

Cut a strip wide enough to cover the inner depth of the tin's inner surface and superglue into place. Making sure you leave just enough to allow the lid to screw to the threaded top.

Then you just paint the tin however you fancy with Humbrol Enamels and there you have it! A sturdy, leather-lined pellet tin that fits your pockets, keeps all your ammo safe, clean, dry and free from rattles and sounds.

Giro sorry mate no I don't have pics. You're going to have to use your imagination!:thumbs:

Edited to add.

It really is not difficult to make one of these pellet tins Giro. You're just lining a sturdy pellet tin with cheap chammy and paint it up how you like. And they last years and years without problems.
