jasper65 6
I had a nightmare last saturday evening when our brittany was involved in a car accident with some young lady behind the wheel. thankfully the dog seemed to recover after having what looked like a fit but was bleeding from her mouth and also from her paw, I aproached the girl in the car who was fine and seemed concerned about the Dog, shortly after this her father turned up who seemed more concerned about the damage to the car than anything else, after close Inspection it was Obviouse the Radiator was broken with water everywhere and perhaps some slight other damage, either way my main concern was our dog. thankfully the Dog doesn't seem so bad as a lady in the village who works at a vets has checked her over and she said its a miracle!! the dog litterally went right under the car, Just a couple of pic's of her pointing quail the day before the accident.. jasper65 6
Is she still ok mate? Hope it was as you first assessed..... She's getting as good as new now Hywel , she's pretty nervouse though and I get the impresion she didn't know what the f**k hit her and perhaps blames us for it . On the down side the Girls twat of a father has been round shouting the odds yesterday evening telling me the cost to the motor is going to be excess of £1100, and basically if I don't pay it he'll take me to civil court. I took pic's of the car and the only thing you can see from the front is a broken number plate, the grill had been pushed out of its clips but otherwise perfect, and the Radiator has popped water everywhere where he had stopped. thinking back though when his Daughter hit the dog she didn't brake up once and litterally only pulled over around 150 yds further up the road, I reckon she was doing a runner but couldn't cause the radiator had blown, the other thing I'm unsure about is I think when you hit a dog by Law it should be reported in 24hrs as its classed as a RTA, is this true? I'll be Honest the last thing I need right now is a civil court action but f**k know what he's going to do.... Cheers Jasper Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Glad the dog is O.K mate, It's always a worry when something like that happens. Dosn't the f**kwit of a bloke know thats what car insurance is all about? You must have some patience, if some bloke came to my door demanding £1100 quid after a scare like that, he would be told to Foxtrot Oscar and would have the door slammed in his face. But then i'm quite good at getting myself into trouble! Edited August 21, 2007 by maltenby Quote Link to post
