baw 4,360
lol we have been through this and it was explained to you.not voting would not matter a jot.The only way for our system to change.is to keep voting.when they dont honour there pledges or there party is full of corruption, vote them out! Your right about one thing.British politics has changed, and for the better i reckon.now they arent so complacent.who would have thought UKIP would have been a contendor.and that happened by the other main partys incompetence and greed.cameron and his eton boys will get the message come the general election if things dont change.if we all kept voting and booting them out of office who didnt do thier jobs.then we will eventually get political parties who are serious about being a goverment for the nation, and the ones who are only in it to feather there nests would eventually dissapear. Only thing that was explained to me is what I already know. For it to work would take everyone to stand upto them and not voting. But you lot don't have the backbone for that. You ask Muslims to stand up to radical extremists in their midsts and yet politicians can run this country how they please, raping our land beyond belief and you gladly vote them in. Please lads, grow a set, honest, you can do it......
scothunter 12,609
Then if you already f***ing know then you will know what we mean.or are you being deliberately dense.please enlighten me with what your take on it would be if no one voted. If it was me first thing id do is cut polticians wages.put it on a scale like the army(although im loathed to put those c**ts in the same bracket)but id have them having to work and serve the people for a 2 or 3 years before i raised there pay.and it would be capped.IMO the politicians we have today are just bored millonaires with get into politics as they see it as an exclusive boys club. They have forgotten what there purpose is.I agree there corrupt c**ts and put of touch, and should not be in office, but not to vote wouldnt make a diffrence. To have it any other way would just result in chaos.we need a goverment and civil servants to run the nation thats a given.but not voting is your right mate and batter on,but dont tell us were fools for exercising our right to vote, cause like has been explained by a few lads your way certainly isnt the answer of that im sure of,

So your answering is to keep on voting. How many times has that worked? Ohhh wait, its gonna work next time..... Or the time after, or maybe....... So let me see, your going to vote in a group of men to run our country under the guise of ukip. What do you know about them exactly that makes you think they are capable of running the country? I think what is scarier than folk voting in the cheating lying Tories and labour candidates is folk just voting any old clown who speaks of change.
walshie 2,804
This is all looking very familiar. It's like deja vu....all over again.
baw 4,360
Lol walshie, what do you think of the labour guys taking £12k a month to diddle?
walshie 2,804
Lol walshie, what do you think of the labour guys taking £12k a month to diddle? These people haven't been voted in, and are still "diddiling" - so how does your logic stand up to that? Edited to add: I'm really punching myself for letting myself get dragged into this old chestnut.

Voting in ukip won't make a blind bit of difference as you've pointed out. So in that respect, voting won't make a difference, everyone not voting will

It's a lovely theory, but as it won't happen, the only way I can do my bit to even the score is by voting for who I want, rather than having something far worse in by default. Shouldn't you be on holiday or something?
WoodsmanJim 160
Not voting is as stupid a protest as can be made in a democratic system. All it shows is apathy and laziness (whatever your actual feelings may be is irrelevant). Your vote wont count for anything. You'd be far better to go to the polls and spoil your ballot paper. Write a great big "ABSTAINING" across the whole card, or "NO-ONE" or something like that. That way your vote will actually be officially counted as a 'no vote' and your message will actually be heard. We have a system, use the system properly and to your advantage rather than just ignoring it. Jim
Born Hunter 17,959
Common baw, lets have your master plan in detail..... So far you have put all sorts of radical ideas forward but no in depth strategy for change.

Big drive across the country for everyone not to vote started by the baw celebrities involved, pop stars do a collaboration of the no vote song..... Reaches no43 in the charts.... Full country sick of the back teeth getting shat on by EVERY political party....... 60 odd million voice it by not voting, one big voice. A few mill with no backbone vote but no matter who gets in, the vast majority of the people will have the say. We'd be like France, if we don't like what's being done wed block the ports, down tools, we would be in control...... Or we can all laugh at it and vote and hope for a miracle.
