shootlodge 147
I have several shotgun adapters on the same principal converting 12g to 20 or 410 , they work reasonable well. This should work fine as the dia of the bullet is correct . If the adapter is a good firm fit & locks in, should be fine, or it may be ejected with the brass. Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Assuming you don't already have .22 hornet on your ticket, you will need a variation for the calibre, but to be honest, why bother, I cant for the life of me see it being accurate, headspace issues and all kinds of gremlins spring to mind, just use your .223 and forget it would be my take on it pal. On the same wave length as you CC Accuracy was what i thought about. It must be total sh**e! I'm just in the process of putting in a variation for a .22 Hornet. I have the .22lr, which like most people i'd never part with it..... I have a .204 Ruger. Cracking calibre, but you have to reload, unless you have deep pockets! I also have a .17 hmr. However i've decided the .22 Hornet is alot more versatile, and as i reload it seems the right way to go..... Edited May 31, 2013 by jam1e Quote Link to post

The accuracy issues are a concern to be honest. Although having read "umteen" amounts of research material on the web, i'm hoping that reloading my own will make the difference needed to get the sub 1" moa i'd like. Even if i have to crimp..... I could go on about why, but most are just personal choices, and experiences i'd like to try out. Along with, why not try something different..... Edited June 1, 2013 by jam1e Quote Link to post
