villaman 9,982
HiWell on Friday I finally bought a HW97k sporter stock in .22 after what has been said about them.I paid £200 for it that includes Bag ,gun , scope , pellets targets and holder. I was told it is about 5-6 years old but looking at the serial no it seems to be around 2001 but in mint condition , apparently only had 250 pellets through it .Been testing pellets to day and only just finished ,its been a long but enjoyable day .The 97 is a standard gun with NO TUNE UP as yet. This is the first time I shot a springer in the last 2 years or may be more ,any how this is how I got on and I chose these 5 brand of pellets as they are the best out of all I tried. All shot taken at 30 yards Thanks for viewing ,Mitch Edited May 27, 2013 by villaman 4 Quote Link to post

Jasglo68 11
I am also a new owner of a 97 and can not sing its praises highly enough. Mines a .177 and its single hole groups all the way. Only tried AA fields in it and see no reason to try anything else :-) Nice shooting by the way Edited May 27, 2013 by Jasglo68 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
What is your 95 like, I have thought about getting one but have the barrel cut down and re crowned ? Edited May 27, 2013 by villaman Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
If you mean mine VM its spot on and will hit tiny targets at 60 meters pretty much as well as my HW100KT will. Its hard work though and is very hold sensitive so your technique needs to be spot on with it as its light mate. If i was you i would get a HW80 and fit a HW98 barrel VM. That would be the dogs and shoot like a dream Ask John (Wurtz). Edited May 27, 2013 by zini 1 Quote Link to post
