Desmond 480 Posted May 22, 2013 Report Share Posted May 22, 2013 this will kick a fuss up but seen a good few dogs pull up at hedges that have been lamped. i never lamp my dogs because of this reason It's just an excuse that people use if there dogs pull/stop at hedges if a dog wanted it enough it would go through full stop! It's down to how much heart the dogs got some dogs know the difference from a lost cause and something worth pursuing into cover comes with experience..my big dog looks twice his age he's had a hard paper round caught thousands of rabbits day/night stops at nothing isnt it your turn to feed the baby Hard work isnt it our lasses nips are red raw he a proper man got 2 teeth coming through already he defo yours or what yeah he handsome like his old man lol desmond has defo not been round then Quote Link to post

Have two been lamped and never pull up at ditch during the day and both get ferreted as well. Have two pups here one 9 months that been out few times lamping just watching. Last few times give her about 16 runs and she killed 13 . Thats her never see lamp again.. All in all its all about heart icey i dont think mixi rabbits count, id rather throw one of the childs teddy bears to it, lol..... gorger said you have a canny stash of teddys yourself tommy Quote Link to post
