young man 225 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Share Posted May 20, 2013 Well came back from mourne lurcher n terrier show (great show ).. But anyway! Put the dogs and went down to see one of my we ferrets, a little polcat jill in kit to a eu.. Went down and lifted a dog crap and realised that she hadent cam out of the box.. Looked in the the nesting box and there she was.. Dead.... :( .. Don't understand what could of happind! She was bedded in wood shavings.. She had water.. And was fed the night before! I don't understand! Has anyone had a freaky one like this ! my first ferret got her when I was 12..she was only a year old! ..?? Any help?? Quote Link to post

air gun ant 1,666 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Share Posted May 21, 2013 Shit mate but it happens sometimes, gave a mate the pick of a litter I had last year and it was an absolute bruiser of hobb ( I ferret to the gun these days so can't be arsed with hole hopping, when a rabbit bolts it's running for its life with my line ;-) it got to bout nine months doing really well then he found him curled up in his bed, died in his sleep for no apparent reason? This lad lives just down the road and I no it was well looked after but sometimes it just happens bud. ;-( Quote Link to post
